Hamas Leader States No Official Proposal Received Regarding Resistance Weapons

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Osama Hamdan, a senior leader in the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), stated in an interview with Al Jazeera Mubasher that the idea of Benjamin Netanyahu, currently facing prosecution by the International Criminal Court, joining a peace council is the most ludicrous prospect of the century.
Hamdan further clarified that Hamas has not received any official draft or proposal from mediators regarding the weapons of the resistance. He stressed that the Hamas movement has not formally adopted any decision to suspend the resistance’s armament.
The Hamas official reaffirmed the movement’s steadfast position, declaring, “Our national stance is clear and constant; as long as the occupation continues, resistance is a legitimate right.” Hamdan also specified that the Palestinian people oppose any form of trusteeship and will absolutely not accept the substitution of international forces for the occupying army.
Addressing recent discussions with the Indonesian government, Hamdan noted that Hamas engaged with Jakarta officials, emphasizing that the role of international forces must be confined to the borders of the Gaza Strip for separation from the Israeli occupation. He added that any international stabilization force must prevent aggression against the Palestinian nation, similar to the stipulations outlined in the Trump plan.
Regarding the situation at the Rafah crossing, Hamdan accused the Zionists of obstructing its operation, allowing only a very small number of people to pass. He also reported that the occupying forces have prevented the entry of the Gaza Strip’s National Administration Committee.
