Russian Air Defenses Intercept and Destroy 106 Ukrainian Drones Overnight

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced on Tuesday that its air defense systems had intercepted and destroyed 106 Ukrainian drones over the previous 24-hour period.
The successful intercepts occurred across the airspace of various Russian regions, including the oblasts of Belgorod, Bryansk, Voronezh, and Tambov, as well as over the Crimean Peninsula.
Despite numerous rounds of diplomatic engagement, the conflict between Russia and Ukraine remains intractable, with primary obstacles to a peace agreement fundamentally tied to unresolved territorial issues.
Both nations are actively striving to maintain and expand their current areas of control, aiming to gain the initiative both on the battlefield and at the negotiating table.
Earlier statements by Matthew Whitaker, the United States Permanent Representative to the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), indicated that Washington anticipates a resolution regarding territorial disputes within the immediate coming days and weeks. Whitaker further disclosed that participants in the ongoing negotiations aimed at resolving the Ukraine crisis are currently finalizing four key documents. These documents reportedly include a 20-point peace plan, a set of multilateral security guarantees, specific security assurances provided by the United States, and a comprehensive program for post-conflict economic growth and prosperity.
