President Trump Confirms Positive US Engagement with Venezuela, Resumption of Oil Shipments

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, US President Donald Trump has declared that interactions between the United States and Venezuela are currently in a very positive phase. He emphasized that Washington maintains constructive engagement with interim President Delcy Rodríguez and other Venezuelan officials.
President Trump further asserted that the process of exporting crude oil from Venezuela has officially commenced. He claimed that a significant portion of the generated revenue would be allocated to supporting the people of Venezuela.
This development follows confirmation from US Energy Secretary Chris Wright, who stated that Washington has already facilitated the sale of over one billion dollars worth of Venezuelan oil. Secretary Wright projected that this figure is expected to climb toward approximately five billion dollars in the coming months.
However, the US Energy Secretary elected not to disclose specific details regarding the final destinations for the exported Venezuelan crude. Wright characterized the ongoing cooperation between Washington and Caracas as “the beginning of a major success,” expressing satisfaction with the level of engagement achieved with interim President Delcy Rodríguez.
This enhanced economic interaction follows previous administrative actions by the US government. Washington had previously issued a new general license intended to facilitate oil and gas exploration and production activities within Venezuela, building upon earlier authorizations that permitted the export of Venezuelan crude and the import of fuel.
