Solidarity Rally for Palestinians Held in Morocco’s Capital

Dozens of Moroccan citizens gathered in Rabat, the nation’s capital, calling for an immediate influx of humanitarian aid into the besieged Gaza Strip amid ongoing hostilities by the Israeli regime. Participants voiced strong condemnation of the continued aggression and demanded an end to the siege.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, a demonstration expressing solidarity with the Palestinian people in Gaza was held in Rabat, the capital of Morocco, on Friday evening. The rally was organized to demand the immediate entry of humanitarian assistance into the blockaded region under the Israeli regime’s siege.

Attendees at the gathering, which took place in front of the Moroccan Parliament building, strongly condemned the continuation of aggressive attacks by the Israeli regime against the Gaza Strip. They collectively called for the urgent provision of humanitarian relief to the area.

Dozens of Moroccan citizens responded to the call from the ‘Action Group for Palestine’ to attend the event. Protesters chanted slogans in support of the Palestinian ‘resistance’ and voiced strong opposition to what they termed the ‘continuation of genocide crimes in Gaza,’ the ‘blockade of the Gaza Strip,’ the ‘prevention of aid delivery to Gazans,’ and the need for the ‘release of prisoners’ and reconstruction of the region.

Participants held placards bearing messages such as ‘The people of Morocco stand united with the Arab and Islamic nation against the aggression of the Israeli regime.’ Chants included ‘Long live the resistance, long live Palestine’ and ‘The nation demands the liberation of Palestine.’ Demonstrators also denounced the insufficient flow of humanitarian aid into Gaza, emphasizing their solidarity with the Palestinian cause.

Despite an agreed-upon ceasefire commencing on October 10, 2025, the Israeli regime is reportedly obstructing the entry of humanitarian aid into Gaza as stipulated by the accord. The region, home to approximately 2.4 million Palestinians, including 1.5 million displaced persons living in critical conditions, continues to face daily violations of the truce through Israeli aerial strikes across various sectors.

The conflict initiated by the Israeli regime, with support from the United States starting on October 8, 2023, spanned two years, resulting in approximately 72,000 fatalities and about 171,000 injuries, predominantly among women and children. Recent reports indicate that Israeli attacks have caused the martyrdom of roughly 600 Palestinians and wounded 1,578 others, mostly women and children, while nearly 90 percent of the region’s civilian infrastructure has been destroyed.
