Zionist Settler Attacks in West Bank Injure 25 Palestinians

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, local and medical sources in Palestine have confirmed that a Friday assault by Zionist settlers on the town of Talfit, situated south of Nablus in the northern West Bank, left 25 people wounded. The incident reportedly involved direct confrontation following the settler incursions.
The Palestinian Red Crescent stated that during the violent episode, one person sustained a gunshot wound, while two others suffered injuries from direct physical assault or beatings. The individual shot was subsequently transported to a hospital, whereas the two others received field treatment for their injuries.
Mahmoud Abu Aisha, the head of the Talfit Village Council, informed the media that these coordinated attacks, which he claimed occurred with the participation of occupation forces, ultimately totaled 25 casualties. He further specified that 15 individuals suffered from asphyxiation due to inhaling tear gas, and an additional four sustained injuries through various means, including gunfire and assault.
Damage incurred during the raids included the destruction of windows in ten vehicles and four homes, alongside the confiscation of one vehicle. Furthermore, four live rounds were allegedly fired towards a mosque, and an electrical generator sustained damage. Eyewitnesses detailed that the settlers used live ammunition and physical force, resulting in the injury of one young man and several other residents.
In response to the aggressive actions, chants of ‘Allahu Akbar’ (Takbir) were broadcast from mosque loudspeakers, summoning worshipers to confront the attackers. Simultaneously, occupation forces reportedly surrounded worshipers inside the mosque complex.
Hamas movement vehemently condemned the incursions, labeling them as “aggressive and criminal acts,” and issued a call for decisive international intervention to deter such future actions. Reports also indicated that Zionist settlers, backed by occupation forces, launched separate attacks against residents in the Ras al-Ain area.
Data compiled by the ‘Wall and Settlement Resistance Center’ reveals an escalation in settler violence across the West Bank during January of the preceding year. That month, settlers conducted a total of 468 attacks, encompassing physical assaults, the uprooting of trees, the burning of agricultural fields, the obstruction of farmers’ access to their lands, and the illegal seizure of Palestinian properties.
