Afghan and Turkish Envoys in Moscow Meet to Boost Bilateral Cooperation

The Afghan caretaker government’s ambassador in Moscow, Mawlawi Gul Hassan Hassan, held discussions with the Turkish Ambassador to Russia, Tanju Bilgiç, focusing on strengthening political, economic, and cultural ties between the two nations.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the ambassador representing the caretaker administration of Afghanistan in Moscow, Mawlawi Gul Hassan Hassan, met with Tanju Bilgiç, the Turkish Ambassador to the Russian Federation, for extensive talks.

A statement released by the Afghan Embassy in Moscow indicated that during the meeting, both diplomats emphasized the necessity of reinforcing bilateral relations between Afghanistan and Turkey across political, economic, and cultural sectors.

A significant point of discussion centered on streamlining visa issuance processes for Afghan businesspeople and patients traveling to Turkey. The two envoys stressed the importance of creating improved conditions to facilitate travel for Afghan citizens between the two countries.

Ambassador Hassan Hassan and Ambassador Bilgiç reached a consensus on maintaining and strengthening stable relations, enhancing coordination, and committing to regular meetings between the two embassies based in Moscow going forward.
