Four Killed in Israeli Airstrike Targeting Vehicle in Eastern Lebanon

Four individuals were martyred Sunday evening following an Israeli regime airstrike that struck a vehicle in the town of Majdal Anjar, located in Lebanon’s central Beqaa region. This attack occurred despite an ongoing ceasefire agreement signed in late 2024.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, four people were martyred late Sunday evening as a result of an aerial attack carried out by the Zionist regime targeting a vehicle in the town of Majdal Anjar, situated in the central Beqaa region of eastern Lebanon.

A correspondent for Al Mayadeen network in the Beqaa region confirmed that the aerial assault resulted in the martyrdom of four individuals. This incident follows an earlier report from Al Mayadeen’s correspondent in Southern Lebanon, who had reported the downing of a Zionist regime drone in the town of Houla, located in the border strip.

Furthermore, military forces from the Israeli regime crossed the ‘Blue Line’ into the Miss al-Jabal area. Following reconnaissance operations in the vicinity, the troops reportedly returned behind the border fence. These actions are taking place while the Lebanese Army, government, and resistance factions remain committed to the ceasefire agreement.

However, the Zionist regime has been consistently violating this agreement on a nearly daily basis, showing disregard for regional and international demands calling for an immediate cessation of hostilities and aggression.

The ceasefire between the Zionist regime and Lebanon was formally signed on the 28th of November, 2024. The terms of the agreement stipulated that Israeli military forces were to withdraw from Southern Lebanon within two months. Nevertheless, the regime has violated the stipulations of the truce by maintaining its forces in several strategic positions throughout Southern Lebanon and continuing its attacks against the country.
