Iraqi Popular Mobilization Forces Destroy Four ISIS Underground Bunkers in Anbar Province

Iraqi Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) successfully identified and dismantled four clandestine underground hideouts used by ISIS terrorists during a recent security operation conducted in the western reaches of Anbar Province. The operation, executed based on precise intelligence, also resulted in the confiscation of weapons and explosives.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Iraqi Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) forces have successfully located and destroyed four underground bunkers belonging to elements of the ISIS terrorist group in a recent security sweep across Anbar Province. The operation marks a significant step in ongoing counter-terrorism efforts within the region.

A security source based in Anbar Province confirmed that this decisive operation took place in the western sector of the province. These subterranean facilities had been constructed for use by ISIS operatives, serving as concealed locations for planning and coordinating terrorist activities.

The security source further detailed that during the inspection of the destroyed hideouts, a quantity of weapons and explosive materials was successfully discovered and seized by the PMF units. This targeted operation was carried out leveraging highly accurate intelligence regarding the existence of secret ISIS tunnels within the desert areas of Anbar Province.
