Lebanese Army Commander: Full Weapon Monopoly Plan Will Take Time, Citing Israeli Violations

Lebanese Army Commander Rodolphe Helo acknowledged that implementing the full weapon monopoly plan north of the Litani River will require an estimated four to eight months, possibly longer, due to various obstacles including repeated Israeli incursions.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Rodolphe Helo, the Commander of the Lebanese Army, stated during a government meeting that the complete implementation of the weapon monopoly plan in the area north of the Litani River will necessitate a timeframe of between four and eight months, and potentially longer.

Helo also highlighted the challenges hindering the execution of this plan, noting that several factors, particularly the repeated aggressions by the Zionist regime, have contributed to delays in finalizing the weapon monopoly plan south of the Litani River.

In a related development, Al Mayadeen network reported that the Lebanese Army has bolstered its military presence in border regions by deploying forces at four new border points in the town of Kfar Kila. Furthermore, a new deployment base has been established in the Khallet al-Mahafer area, near the town of Adaysseh.
