Ansar Allah Leader Calls for Ramadan to Be a Season of Resistance Against Arrogance

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Sayyid Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, the leader of Yemen’s Ansar Allah movement, issued a message on the occasion of the blessed month of Ramadan, describing it as ‘the greatest divine gift’ and ‘a special season for elevating faith, purifying the soul, and cleansing hearts.’ He extended congratulations to the Yemeni people and the Islamic nation, emphasizing the utilization of the month’s blessings to attain piety, connection with the Holy Quran, and the improvement of life’s realities.
Al-Houthi, referring to the noble objective of fasting – achieving ‘piety’ and the ‘light of the Holy Quran’ – urged everyone to seize the spiritual opportunities of this month for growth on the divine path and for individual and societal reform. He stressed the link between worship and the realities of the Islamic nation’s life, stating that current challenges and dangers posed by ‘powers of oppression and tyranny,’ led by the United States and the Zionist regime, alongside the suffering of the oppressed Palestinian people, necessitate the Islamic nation’s sincere return to God to pursue the path of divine victory and dignity. Al-Houthi viewed Ramadan as a ‘golden opportunity for an ایمان (faith) and practical leap in the nation’s condition.’
Al-Houthi called upon all Muslims to assist the poor and needy, strengthen bonds of brotherhood and social solidarity, and maintain kinship ties. He warned that negligence and preoccupation with futile programs, games, and worthless content would lead to ‘loss and detriment in benefiting from the blessings of these days.’ He further described Ramadan as one of ‘the most important seasons of transformation for the Islamic nation,’ noting that with proper utilization of the month, the nation could achieve extensive self-transformation. Al-Houthi also emphasized the importance of reciting the Holy Quran, abundant remembrance of God, and adherence to piety, which is a prerequisite for the acceptance of good deeds.
In conclusion, the leader of the Ansar Allah movement offered prayers to God, seeking mercy for all martyrs, complete healing for the wounded, and victory, dignity, and divine support for the Yemeni people.
