Key Technology Funding Package Activated as Knowledge-Based Firms Receive Allocations

According to the Economic Desk of Webangah News Agency, Hossein Afshin, speaking to reporters after a meeting of the government cabinet, announced the operational status of the ‘1+7’ package. He confirmed that a number of domestic knowledge-based companies have successfully received their entitled funds.
Addressing the financial outlook for his office, Afshin noted an improvement in budgetary allocations for the upcoming year compared to the previous period. While acknowledging the increase is not massive, he stated that the current fiscal planning represents a better standing for the Vice Presidency for Science, Technology, and Knowledge-Based Economy than in the prior year.
Furthermore, the Vice President detailed the distribution mechanism for these resources, explaining that approximately half of the budget assigned to the Vice Presidency is channeled directly to the Innovation and Prosperity Fund. This fund is the primary vehicle through which necessary financial facilities and support are extended to knowledge-based enterprises operating within the country.
In outlining the cross-governmental coordination efforts, Afshin emphasized the comprehensive engagement between the Vice Presidency for Science, Technology, and Knowledge-Based Economy and all other ministries, asserting that collaborative interaction remains complete across the executive branch.
