Israel Escalates West Bank Raids, Settler Attacks Intensify

Palestinian sources report a surge in Israeli military incursions across the West Bank, accompanied by increased attacks by settlers targeting Palestinian villages and residents.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Palestinian sources have reported an escalation in attacks by the Israeli military on various areas of the West Bank. Occupying forces raided the villages of ‘Ain Yabrud and ‘Ain Abud in the northeast of Ramallah early this morning, deploying tear gas against Palestinian homes.

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society announced that a young Palestinian was shot in the leg with live ammunition at the Qalandia checkpoint. Occupying forces also raided the Ras al-Jura area in Hebron, resulting in the injury of a young Palestinian man. In a further intensification of raids, occupying forces attacked Beit Ummar and Adna in the north and west of Hebron.

Israeli forces also stormed the areas of Surra and Qaryut near Nablus, arresting several Palestinian citizens, including Nasser Arayshi and Mohammed Bassam Al-Allami. In occupied Jerusalem, occupying forces raided the Silwan neighborhood, arresting Suhaib Al-Awar after demolishing his home.

Concurrently with these military actions, a number of Zionist settlers attacked the village of Yabrud in the northeast of Ramallah, stealing livestock from residents. This incursion led to intense clashes between the villagers and the attackers.
