Russia Demands End to US Economic Sanctions Against Cuba

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Russia‘s Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a statement on Wednesday announcing that Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, during a meeting with his Cuban counterpart, vehemently condemned the illegal actions and economic pressures imposed by Washington on Havana.

The statement further noted that Lavrov emphasized Moscow’s unwavering support for Cuba in its efforts to dismantle the commercial, economic, and financial blockade enforced by the United States. The foreign ministers of both nations also engaged in discussions on significant global and regional issues, affirming their readiness to further expand the strategic partnership between Russia and Cuba.
