Russia and Iran Conduct Joint Naval Drills in Gulf of Oman

Russia and Iran have conducted joint naval exercises in the Gulf of Oman, with Iranian naval forces joining the Russian frigate ‘Stoykiy.’ The drills aimed to ensure safe navigation and coordination in the region.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced that its navy and Iran’s navy have held joint exercises in the Gulf of Oman. Based on data published by Mehr News Agency, the Russian fleet’s frigate “Stoykiy” was joined by Iran’s naval forces. The crew of the Russian frigate participated in a joint ceremonial event held in Bandar Abbas. Seamen from both countries undertook necessary measures during the exercises to ensure coordination and guarantee safe navigation in the region.
