Hamas: Gaza Peace Council’s True Test is Halting Israeli Aggression

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Hazem Qasem, spokesperson for the Hamas movement, commented on the statements issued during the Gaza Peace Council summit. He asserted that the council’s genuine assessment would hinge on its success in forcing the Zionist regime to halt its aggressive actions and commence the provision of aid and the reconstruction process in Gaza.
The inaugural session of the so-called “Gaza Peace Council” convened in Washington on Thursday, presided over by the President of the United States, and attended by leaders and representatives from around 45 nations. During this gathering, which notably lacked any representatives from the Palestinian people, Donald Trump declared it a significant day, highlighting the attendance of numerous leaders. He further remarked that achieving peace is challenging but attainable, expressing gratitude for the participating leaders and describing his relationships with them as very strong.
