Palestinian Resistance Committees Condemn Partial Rafah Crossing Reopening as Insufficient

Palestinian Resistance Committees have decried the partial reopening of the Rafah crossing, stating it does not alleviate the humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza and demanding full compliance with international law and ceasefire agreements by the occupying regime.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the Palestinian Resistance Committees have emphasized that the right to treatment is not a privilege for pressure or a tool for blackmail, but a fundamental right for saving human lives. The committees further stated that the continued procrastination by the occupying regime in this regard is a clear violation of the mechanisms established in the ceasefire agreement.

The committees also pointed out that the complete siege and military control over the passenger list at the Rafah crossing is an organized action aimed at making the Gaza Strip uninhabitable and undermining international efforts.

The United States government was identified in the statement as responsible for the current critical situation and the systematic violations by the Zionist regime at the Rafah crossing. These violations include non-adherence to allocated quotas, physical and psychological harassment, harsh interrogations, threatening travelers, and extortion by out-of-law mercenaries collaborating with the Zionists.

The Palestinian Resistance Committees called on mediators and guarantor countries to take immediate action to halt these violations and compel the occupying regime to fully reopen the Rafah crossing in accordance with international law and to implement the second phase of the agreement, which includes the withdrawal of Israeli forces from Gaza.
