Al-Aqsa Mosque Preacher Cites Intensified Israeli Restrictions on Jerusalem Worshippers

The preacher of Al-Aqsa Mosque, Ikrimah Sabri, stated that the Israeli occupation forces have escalated severe restrictions against Palestinian worshippers in Jerusalem ahead of the holy month of Ramadan, marking a significant intensification compared to previous years.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Ikrimah Sabri, the preacher of Al-Aqsa Mosque, revealed in an interview with Al Jazeera that the Israeli occupation regime initiated extensive plans approximately one month ago to impose broad restrictions on Palestinian worshippers during the holy month of Ramadan.

Sabri, addressing the security justifications presented by the occupation forces for their actions, indicated that these forces are dissatisfied with the large presence of Muslims at Al-Aqsa Mosque. He identified the primary objective of these plans as reducing Muslim presence in the city of Jerusalem and at this holy site.

The preacher of Al-Aqsa Mosque concluded by emphasizing that the measures and restrictions implemented this year are considerably more severe and provocative than those in past years.
