Russian FSB Warns Military Use of Telegram Poses Threat

Russia’s Federal Security Service (FSB) has issued a stark warning that military personnel using the Telegram platform in the operational zone are facing threats to their lives, with Ukrainian forces capable of exploiting data for military purposes.
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) has announced that the use of the Telegram platform by the country’s army personnel in the operational zone over the past three months has constituted a threat to their lives.
A statement released by the FSB center indicated that credible information suggests the armed forces and intelligence services of Ukraine can rapidly utilize data available on Telegram for military objectives.
Previously, Maksut I. Shadayev, the Minister of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media of Russia, stated that the media oversight organization had decided to reduce Telegram’s speed due to persistent violations of laws.
