Gaza Health Ministry Reports 72,070 Fatalities and 171,738 Injuries Amidst Israeli Operations

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the Palestinian Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip has issued a new statement providing the latest statistics on martyrs and the wounded resulting from the Israeli army’s attacks on the Gaza Strip since October 7th of the previous year.

Based on the announcement from the Ministry of Health in Gaza, as a result of the Israeli army’s assaults on the Strip from October 7, 2023, to the present moment, 72,070 individuals have been martyred. The Palestinian medical authority also stated that the total number of wounded from the Israeli army’s attacks on Gaza since the beginning of the war in the enclave has reached 171,738.

The ministry reported that in the past hours, the bodies of one martyr were transferred to a hospital, and 10 people were injured. Thousands more remain missing and buried under rubble in the Gaza Strip. Since the ceasefire was established on October 11, 2025, 612 people have been martyred and another 1,640 have been injured. Additionally, the bodies of 726 martyrs have been recovered from under the rubble during this period.
