According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Jordan‘s Ministry of Foreign Affairs has reacted strongly to controversial statements made by the U.S. Ambassador to the occupied Palestinian territories. The ambassador had claimed the Israeli regime’s right to dominate the West Bank and the Middle East.
The Jordanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs unequivocally condemned these remarks, emphasizing that the West Bank and Gaza are considered occupied Palestinian territories. The ministry further stated that ending the occupation and establishing an independent Palestinian state is the sole path to achieving just and comprehensive peace.
Earlier, Mike Huckabee, the U.S. Ambassador to the occupied Palestinian territories, controversially claimed that the Israeli regime possesses a religious right to control a significant portion of Middle Eastern territories. In an interview with American journalist Tucker Carlson in Tel Aviv, Huckabee, in response to a question about the concept of ‘Greater Israel’ and referencing verses from the Book of Genesis describing the region from the Nile to the Euphrates, acknowledged that it would be beneficial if ‘they (Israel) took control of everything.’
