Zelensky Calls for Substantive Future Geneva Talks with Russia and US

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has emphasized that upcoming Geneva negotiations with representatives from Russia and the United States must be substantive and yield concrete outcomes. He has directed his chief negotiator to collaborate with friendly nations in Turkey and West Asia to support Ukraine’s diplomatic efforts.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has stated that future meetings in Geneva, involving delegations from Moscow and Washington, must possess clear content and objectives. He has instructed his senior negotiator to work with allied countries in Turkey and West Asia to bolster Ukraine‘s position in the diplomatic process.

Zelensky further asserted that during previous Geneva discussions, the United States clearly observed obstructive tactics from the Russian side. Consequently, he stressed that the next summit should not be a mere exercise in time-wasting. The Ukrainian President added that close coordination with partners will be undertaken to ensure active participation from the European continent in all related processes.
