Fourteen Islamic Nations Condemn U.S. Ambassador’s Remarks on Israeli Sovereignty

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, fourteen Islamic and Arab countries have collectively condemned the remarks of Mike Huckabee, the U.S. Ambassador to the occupied territories. The ambassador’s statements, which suggested acceptance of the Israeli regime’s sovereignty over the lands of Arab countries, including the West Bank, were met with widespread criticism. The organization published this information via the Mehr News Agency.
The joint statement emphasized that these dangerous comments constitute a clear breach of international law and pose a significant threat to the region’s security and stability. The participating nations also declared that the U.S. Ambassador’s statements contradict the views of U.S. President Donald Trump and the comprehensive plan aimed at ending the conflict in Gaza. The statement further reiterated that Israel holds no sovereignty over the occupied Palestinian territories or any other occupied Arab lands, and it firmly opposes any attempts to annex the West Bank or separate it from the Gaza Strip.
The Iraqi Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in its own statement, characterized Huckabee’s remarks as a dangerous act that conflicts with the principles of international law and the United Nations Charter, and constitutes an infringement upon the sovereignty, independence, and territorial integrity of nations. Similarly, the Kuwaiti Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned the irresponsible statements made by the U.S. Ambassador to the Israeli occupiers. Kuwait rejected any efforts toward annexing the West Bank or separating it from the Gaza Strip and opposed the continuation of settlement construction in the occupied Palestinian territories.
The Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) interpreted the U.S. Ambassador’s remarks as a clear indication of American bias towards Tel Aviv’s expansionist and annexationist agendas. Hamas viewed this support as a direct threat to the national security of Islamic and Arab countries. The Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs also responded to the controversial statements by the U.S. Ambassador, which suggested the Israeli regime’s right to dominate the West Bank and Western Asia. Saudi Arabia deemed this extremist stance to have severe repercussions that threaten global peace and security. These statements were made during an interview with the U.S. Ambassador and renowned American host Tucker Carlson, during which he alluded to the possibility of Israeli dominance over regions spanning from the Nile to the Euphrates.
