Arab Parliament Seeks Explanation from US Over Ambassador’s Remarks in Occupied Territories

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the Arab Parliament has formally requested an explanation from the United States regarding the recent statements made by its ambassador in the occupied territories. Mohamed bin Ahmed Al-Limahi, the President of the Arab Parliament, vehemently denounced the recent remarks by Mike Huckabee, the U.S. ambassador to the occupied territories, labeling them a dangerous departure from international laws and the United Nations Charter.
Al-Limahi emphasized that these statements constitute an explicit encouragement of occupation and an attempt to legitimize policies aimed at expanding the occupied territories. He added that the U.S. ambassador’s stance carries dangerous messages that contradict international efforts to end Israel’s occupation and achieve a just and comprehensive solution to the Palestinian issue based on the two-state solution.
The President of the Arab Parliament called on the U.S. government to officially declare its position on Huckabee’s statements and to take action to rectify them.
