Global Fleet to Sail for Gaza Against Siege

A new global fleet is preparing to set sail for Gaza to protest the ongoing blockade, with organizers aiming to break international silence on the Gaza Strip’s situation. The fleet is scheduled to depart from Barcelona and other Mediterranean ports on March 9.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Saif Abukushk, spokesperson for the Esamud Fleet, announced that all necessary measures are being taken to launch a new global movement against the blockade of the Gaza Strip and the continued closure of the Rafah crossing.

Abukushk added that a historic and exceptional fleet is set to embark on a journey towards Palestine to express opposition to the persistent siege of the Gaza Strip. The primary objective of the movement’s organizers is to shatter the international community’s silence regarding the genocide and blockade of Gaza.

The report indicates that the fleet will commence its voyage on March 9 (February 28) from Barcelona and other ports along the Mediterranean Sea. Concurrently, ground convoys from North Africa and Asia are expected to join this initiative. Projections suggest that the fleet will comprise over 100 boats and involve thousands of activists, including a number of doctors and lawyers.
