Brazil’s ‘We Are All Iran’ Campaign Gains Momentum Amidst Cultural Events
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Brazil’s AN News Agency has reported on the growing public campaign “We Are All Iran” within the country. This spontaneous movement was launched with the dual aims of expressing solidarity with the people of Iran and introducing the nation’s profound culture.
In a symbolic and unprecedented gesture, a 100-meter flag of the Islamic Republic of Iran was unfurled during Brazil’s major cultural event, the Rio de Janeiro International Carnival, considered the largest event in Latin America. Another Iranian flag was also displayed at the São Paulo Carnival.
The “We Are All Iran” campaign operates under the slogan “The pain of the Iranian people is our pain too” and pursues four primary objectives: demonstrating solidarity with the Iranian people, showcasing Iranian civilization, peacefully supporting the rights of the country’s citizens, and countering media-driven Iranophobia.
One of the organizers of this initiative stated in an interview with AN News Agency, “We want to tell the people of Iran that they are not alone during these times.” Activists involved in this campaign intend to extend their presence to more cities across Brazil and will continue their activities.
