Mexican Military Kills Major Drug Cartel Leader in Operation

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the Mexican government has announced the death of Nemesio Oseguera, widely known as “El Mencho,” a high-ranking figure within drug trafficking organizations. His demise occurred during a military operation conducted by the country’s armed forces.
Reuters reported that the military operation targeting “El Mencho” was initiated after the United States government exerted pressure on Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum to take decisive action against drug trafficking cartels.
Media outlets have released information indicating that extensive clashes have transpired across Mexico between the Mexican army and security forces and members of the “CJNG” cartel.
Concurrently with these developments in Mexico, the U.S. Department of State has advised its citizens to avoid travel to border regions and within Mexican territory.
