German Party Leader Urges Lifting Sanctions on Iran, Criticizes U.S. Military Presence

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Sahra Wagenknecht, the head of Germany’s Alliance for Reason and Justice party, has demanded that the German government revoke the oppressive sanctions imposed on the Islamic Republic of Iran. She also emphasized the necessity of preventing the United States from utilizing its military bases on German soil for aggressive actions against Iran.
In a social media post, Wagenknecht stated, “The German Federal Government must leverage all its political capacities to prevent war and achieve a negotiated solution. Lifting the sanctions imposed on Iran will serve as a fundamental step, paving the way for the commencement of dialogue.”
The German political activist further added, “Additionally, the German government is obligated to prevent the United States from using its military bases in Germany to support a war against Iran.”
She underscored the imperative of preventing any potential escalation of tensions between the United States and Iran at all costs. Wagenknecht commented that the conflicts instigated by the West in the West Asia region and attempts to ignite coups in regional countries have yielded nothing but destruction and chaos.
