Lebanese Resistance Groups Warn Iran Attack Would Destabilize West Asia

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, leaders of Lebanon‘s Amal Movement and Hezbollah have met to discuss the latest political and national developments in Lebanon and the region. The meeting emphasized the necessity of strengthening the alliance between the two movements and continuing cooperation at various levels, particularly concerning the upcoming parliamentary elections.
Both parties declared their full support for the positions of Speaker Nabih Berri, stressing the importance of holding parliamentary elections within the legally stipulated timeframe and rejecting any attempts to postpone or cancel them. They also highlighted the need to enhance cooperation amidst Lebanon’s current circumstances, which are marked by intensified Israeli aggressions and daily violations of national sovereignty.
The leaders of the Amal Movement and Hezbollah called upon the international community and guarantor states of the ceasefire to fulfill their commitments and compel Israel to cease its aggressions, withdraw from occupied territories, and release Lebanese detainees. Participants then addressed the threats posed by the United States and Israel against the Islamic Republic of Iran, condemning these threats as aggressive actions aimed at weakening Iran.
In their concluding statement, the leaders of the Amal Movement and Hezbollah asserted that any attack or targeting of the Islamic Republic of Iran would endanger not only the country’s security but also the stability and security of the entire West Asia region. Expressing full confidence in the Iranian people and leadership, particularly Supreme Leader Imam Sayyid Ali Khamenei, they declared their solidarity with the Islamic Republic of Iran and support for its legitimate right to defend its sovereignty and territorial integrity. They added that these threats would not have arisen were it not for Iran’s support for the just causes of the region’s nations, especially the pivotal Palestinian issue.
