US Military Aircraft Crashes in Philippines During Exercise, Injuring Five

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Philippine authorities announced on Wednesday that a U.S. military aircraft, with five American personnel aboard, collided with a concrete barrier while attempting to take off during an emergency drill in the northern Philippine province. All occupants of the aircraft sustained injuries in the incident.
The pilot and American personnel involved were transported to a hospital for medical treatment following the crash in Laoag City, Pangasinan province, Philippines. This training flight, which included landing and takeoff maneuvers by a U.S. Air Force transport aircraft in an ‘alternate landing zone,’ had been fully coordinated with Philippine civilian, police, and military officials.
The exact cause of the accident is currently under investigation.
