Moscow Calls for End to Afghan-Pakistani Border Tensions, Offers Mediation

Russia has urged Afghanistan and Pakistan to immediately cease mutual attacks and resolve their border disputes through diplomatic channels, offering its mediation services if formally requested by both nations.
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Moscow has called for an end to border tensions between Afghanistan and Pakistan, advocating for a diplomatic resolution to their differences.
Zamir Kabulov, the Russian President’s Special Representative for Afghanistan, announced yesterday that Moscow implored both countries to halt retaliatory strikes and address their disagreements via diplomatic avenues. He further stated that Russia is prepared to consider mediating between Afghanistan and Pakistan should a formal request be received from either party. This appeal from Moscow comes amid escalating tensions and border clashes between the two neighboring countries.
