Afghanistan’s Defense Ministry Confirms Airstrikes on Pakistani Military Bases

Afghanistan’s Ministry of Defense has confirmed carrying out airstrikes against military targets within Pakistani territory, including locations in Faizabad city, in retaliation for overnight attacks by the Pakistani army on Afghan regions.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Afghanistan‘s Ministry of Defense has confirmed that airstrikes were conducted against military bases inside Pakistani territory. These strikes included targeting areas in the city of Faizabad.

In a statement released by the Afghan Ministry of Defense, the country’s air force struck Pakistani military positions in the cities of Nowshera, Jamrud, and Abbottabad. This action was described as a direct response to the Pakistani army’s overnight attacks on the regions of Kabul, Kandahar, and Paktia.

Meanwhile, Al Jazeera, citing a Pakistani military source, reported that the command center of the Afghan Taliban in Laghman Province, located in the center of the country, was targeted.
