Afghanistan Vows to Extend Conflict Deep into Pakistan Amid Border Tensions

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Afghanistan has announced that while Kabul seeks a peaceful resolution to its disputes with Islamabad, Pakistan has not taken steps in that direction. Simultaneously, the commander of Afghanistan’s armed forces has warned Pakistan against further military incursions, threatening to make Islamabad an unsafe location.
“We will not leave any attack unanswered. Our forces are capable of defending Afghanistan’s territories. The continuation of Pakistan’s attacks will be met with a more crushing response. Our forces have the capability to extend the battle into the heart of Pakistan, including Islamabad,” the commander stated.
Meanwhile, Pakistan’s Ambassador to Russia, Muhammad Khalid Jamali, commented, “Islamabad does not seek to escalate tensions with Afghanistan, but we are compelled to respond to attacks. Pakistan will never use nuclear weapons against Afghanistan.”
He added, “We hope that the escalation of tensions with Afghanistan does not turn into a full-fledged regional conflict. We are confident that Russia can assist in resolving the dispute with Afghanistan, but we have not requested mediation.”
