Germany Urges Israel to Halt Southern Lebanon Military Operations Amid Escalating Conflict

Germany’s Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock has expressed deep concern over ongoing Israeli military operations in southern Lebanon and called for an immediate cessation of hostilities from all involved parties to prevent further escalation.
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, citing Al Jazeera through the Mehr News Agency, German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock voiced profound apprehension regarding the sustained Israeli attacks on southern Lebanon, strongly advocating for a halt to military actions by the belligerents. Baerbock emphasized the urgent need for all parties to cease military operations immediately and return to a ceasefire agreement to prevent a worsening of the situation.
Violent assaults by the Israeli military on southern Lebanon persist, with various areas in the region subjected to intense strikes. This comes shortly after Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu ordered an escalation of attacks targeting southern Lebanon.
