EU Foreign Policy Chief Thanks Pakistan, Qatar for Role in Iran-US Deal

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Kaja Kallas, the EU’s High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, announced on Monday that the bloc appreciates the efforts of Pakistan, Qatar, and other partners who made the agreement (memorandum of understanding) between the United States and Iran possible. The statement was reported by Al Jazeera, citing Mehr News Agency.
Kallas further stated that Lebanon must be incorporated into any ceasefire agreement between the United States and Iran. In a statement that appeared to be a verbal response without condemning the expansionist actions of the Israeli regime, the EU foreign policy chief called for a halt to settlement activities in the Middle East (West Asia). She also advocated for measures to prevent the import of goods from settlements in occupied Palestine.
