Iran and US Set to Sign Agreement at Secure Swiss Resort: Burgenstock
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, news sources report heightened security operations coinciding with the signing of a memorandum of understanding between Iran and the United States at the Burgenstock resort in central Switzerland. Al-Mayadeen’s correspondent reported that delegations from Pakistan and Qatar are present alongside Iran and the U.S. for the signing ceremony. Local authorities have closed the airspace around the Burgenstock region within a 46-kilometer radius. The Iranian and U.S. delegations are expected to meet at Burgenstock on Friday, June 19 (June 29 in the Iranian calendar).
Burgenstock is situated in the heart of Switzerland, atop a mountain overlooking Lake Lucerne. Located approximately 500 meters above the lake, it offers guests unparalleled views of the Alps and the pristine waters of Lucerne. Access to the resort is facilitated by a private road, boat, and cable car, significantly enhancing security and control over entries and exits.
