According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the Lebanese army has stated that one of its soldiers was killed during Israeli attacks on the town of Kfarman in southern Lebanon. The army added that these Israeli assaults are intended to hinder any efforts to restore stability to Lebanon.
Lebanon’s Civil Defense Organization reported that at least four people were killed in an Israeli attack on the Arisalim area in Nabatieh. These developments follow widespread Israeli attacks in southern Lebanon, with numerous assaults reportedly planned against various areas.
Al Jazeera reported that Israeli airstrikes targeted the towns of Kfarman, Shokin, and Kfar Jozz in the Nabatieh region. The National News Agency of Lebanon stated that at least five people were killed in Israeli airstrikes on villages and towns in the south. The agency also reported Israeli airstrikes on the town of Sajd in the Jezzine district.

Despite an agreement between Iran and the United States emphasizing a cessation of hostilities, particularly in Lebanon, Israel has continued its aggressive actions. Reports indicate that Israeli fighter jets and drones conducted at least 130 attacks on Nabatieh and surrounding areas within a 24-hour period. Villages in the Tyre region have also reportedly been subjected to ground and aerial attacks.
Earlier reports indicated that Israeli attacks on southern Lebanese areas resulted in at least 65 deaths and 60 injuries in the preceding day alone.
Lebanese media also reported artillery shelling by the Israeli army on various areas of southern Lebanon, including the use of banned phosphorus and cluster bombs. The official Lebanese news agency reported that the “Ali Al-Tahir” forest in the outskirts of the “Nabatieh Al-Fawqa” area was heavily shelled, with the use of internationally prohibited phosphorus and cluster munitions.
