Lebanese Islamic Group: Full Sovereignty and Israeli Withdrawal Key to Any Accord

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, based on data published by the Mehr News Agency, quoting Al Jazeera, the Islamic Group of Lebanon emphasized: The criterion for any agreement [with the Israeli regime] is the complete preservation of Lebanon’s sovereignty and the guarantee of the withdrawal of Zionist soldiers from all occupied Lebanese territories.

The group also warned: Any discussion regarding the monopoly of weapons and the extension of state sovereignty over Lebanese soil should not be conducted under the pressure of Zionist occupiers or threats.

These statements come in response to the Lebanese government’s agreement with the Israeli regime in Washington, while Hezbollah has previously declared its complete opposition to it at various levels.
