Wall Street Journal Claims Iran-US Talks Halted Amid Escalating Tensions

The Wall Street Journal, citing informed sources, has reported that planned negotiations between Washington and Tehran in Switzerland this week have been suspended due to intensified conflict. This development follows recent actions by Iran’s armed forces targeting U.S. bases in the region.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the American newspaper The Wall Street Journal is now claiming, based on its informed sources, that negotiations scheduled for this week between Washington and Tehran in Switzerland have been halted due to escalating tensions.

Iran‘s armed forces have targeted U.S. bases in the region in response to repeated American aggressions against the country.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran also issued a statement, highlighting the renewed violation of the ceasefire agreement by the United States early Sunday, July 7, 1405 (Iranian calendar). The statement emphasized that these brutal attacks demonstrate that the U.S. regime places minimal value or credibility on its commitments, and that breaking promises is part of the regime’s nature.
