Yemen’s Ansarullah Movement Warns Saudi Arabia of Retaliation for Attacks

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Hizam Al-Assad, a member of the Ansarullah movement’s political bureau, stated on his personal X account that any Saudi aggression against infrastructure, airports, or ports in Al Mukha, Dhubab, Mayun, and other Yemeni areas will be met with a reciprocal response, adhering to a “tension for tension” equation.

In parallel developments, the International Organization for Migration reported that at least 46,000 people have been displaced due to recent clashes in the southwestern regions of Yemen. These figures highlight the severe humanitarian impact of the ongoing conflict.

Further military developments were reported by Reuters, citing two sources from the Yemeni government aligned with Saudi Arabia. These sources indicated that Yemeni forces supported by Saudi Arabia have withdrawn from the island of Perim, located in the Bab el-Mandeb strait.

A local official confirmed that Yemeni armed forces have regained control of the island of Mayun, thereby completing their asserted control over the Bab el-Mandeb strait. This strategic development could have significant implications for regional maritime security and trade routes.
