Putin Expresses Confidence in Middle East Improvement, Highlights UAE Ties

Russian President Vladimir Putin met with Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, on the sidelines of the BRICS summit, affirming strengthened bilateral relations and expressing optimism for regional stability in the Middle East.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced on Saturday that relations between Russia and the United Arab Emirates will be maintained and further strengthened. The announcement came during a meeting with Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, on the sidelines of the BRICS summit.

President Putin stated that the UAE has become one of Russia’s closest partners in the Middle East (West Asia). He conveyed confidence that the situation in the Middle East will improve, despite current challenges.

The Russian President further elaborated that the Persian Gulf region is experiencing a difficult period, and Russia is in communication with the UAE regarding these matters. He reiterated that the relationship between Russia and the UAE will be reinforced, leading to the stabilization of the region.
