Spain Opposes Military Aid for Middle East Conflict, Demands Humanitarian Access to Gaza

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Spain‘s Foreign Minister José Manuel Albares announced that Madrid rejects the denial of humanitarian aid to those in need in Gaza. He urged Israel to open humanitarian crossings to facilitate the delivery of aid, including assistance from Spain, to the Gaza Strip.

Albares further called on Israel to permit the UN Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) to resume its activities in Gaza. Spain maintains a decisive stance against providing any military assistance for the current conflict in West Asia, emphasizing its commitment to diplomacy. The minister reiterated Spain’s call for the recognition of a Palestinian state as a means to achieve a sustainable solution.

He also confirmed Spain’s continued adherence to a complete ban on imports from Israeli settlements.
