Conflicting Reports Emerge Over Security Incident Involving Israeli-Bound Flydubai Aircraft

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, conflicting reports are circulating concerning a security incident that affected a Flydubai aircraft traveling from Dubai to Tel Aviv. The spokesperson for the Israeli Prime Minister’s office stated that the incident was not a hijacking. Israeli media outlets have reported a dispute within the aircraft prior to its landing in Saudi Arabia.

The spokesperson for the occupying regime’s Prime Minister confirmed that the incident involving the Flydubai aircraft, en route from Dubai to Tel Aviv, was not an act of hijacking. The aircraft was carrying 150 passengers.

Channel 14 of the occupying regime’s television reported that the possibility of a hijacking has been ruled out. It is currently being investigated whether the emergency signal was sent by the pilot following an argument onboard. The channel suggested that a dispute between the pilot and co-pilot was a possibility.

Following the incident, the aircraft altered its course and landed in Saudi Arabia. Israel’s Channel 12 had previously indicated that the pilot had activated the code for ‘aircraft hijacking’.

Sources within the media of the occupying regime have presented contradictory claims regarding a confrontation between the pilot and co-pilot as the primary cause of the incident. Some media outlets have claimed the pilot was Russian and the co-pilot was Ukrainian. Other media reports, however, suggest that one of the pilots intended to commit suicide and consequently drastically reduced the aircraft’s altitude from 30,000 feet to 15,000 feet. The second pilot intervened, preventing a crash.

In response to the incident, Benjamin Netanyahu, the Prime Minister of the occupying regime, and Yoav Gallant, the Minister of Defense, held consultations with military and security officials. All flight operations at Ben Gurion Airport were temporarily suspended following the incident, but the airspace later returned to normal.

Earlier, the occupying regime’s army radio announced that a Flydubai aircraft flying from Dubai to Tel Aviv had transmitted an emergency signal indicating a hijacking. Subsequently, the aircraft’s route was diverted towards Saudi Arabia, and it eventually landed at Tabuk Airport in Saudi Arabia.
