Belgium Accuses Israel of Repeated International Law Violations, Urges Unified European Stance
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Belgium‘s Foreign Minister Maxime Prévot stated in an interview with Al Jazeera that the country does not seek to punish the Israeli people but condemns the conduct of groups violating international laws. He asserted that for Europe to act as a geopolitical power, it must solidify its stance.
The Belgian Foreign Minister further elaborated that to exert field influence regarding Israel, a united European position is essential. He stressed that Israel should not be permitted to repeatedly contravene international regulations.
Maxime Prévot then added that the escalating provocations by the Netanyahu government against certain European nations will lead to neither a swift nor a sustainable resolution.
