Financial Times Predicts Record High Fuel Prices Under Trump Administration

The Financial Times reports that gasoline and diesel prices in the United States could reach historic highs during Donald Trump’s presidential term, intensifying cost-of-living pressures for American citizens.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the Financial Times has announced that gasoline prices, coinciding with Donald Trump‘s return to power, may set a historic record across United States administrations. This development unfolds as American citizens grapple with heavy burdens of inflation and escalating living costs.

Based on these evaluations, the average price of a gallon of gasoline during Donald Trump’s second presidential term is projected to surpass $3.46, thereby exceeding the highest recorded average during the administration of former U.S. President Joe Biden.

Investigations by the newspaper, citing statistics from the U.S. Energy Information Administration, indicate that the average price of diesel has climbed since Trump’s return to power, rising past the peak of the Biden era at $4.076 per gallon to reach $4.339 last week.

President Trump is reportedly striving to curb fuel prices within the United States by implementing measures such as rescinding certain environmental regulations and maritime shipping rules, alongside encouraging state governors to collaborate on suspending state production taxes.

The surge in fuel prices globally and particularly in the United States is attributed to Washington’s warmongering policies against Iran and disruptions occurring in the strategic waterway of the Strait of Hormuz.
