Yair Lapid Calls for Immediate Removal of Benjamin Netanyahu and His Cabinet

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, …
Yair Lapid, the head of the Israeli opposition, asserted during political developments on Tuesday that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his administration must be removed from power.
Prior to convening a strategic meeting of opposition parties, the senior opposition figure stated that they are confronting a serious and dangerous effort to undermine election results. He emphasized the necessity of forming a new government, noting that recent events repeatedly demonstrate the imperative to remove Netanyahu from the prime minister’s office.
The gathering brought together prominent political figures including Gadi Eisenkot, Naftali Bennett, Yair Golan, and Avigdor Lieberman. The coalition of opposition leaders met to coordinate their strategy ahead of scheduled consultations with Israeli President Isaac Herzog regarding the designation of a candidate qualified to form the next government.
The allied opposition bloc secured 48 seats in the Knesset during last week’s parliamentary elections. Meanwhile, forming a governing cabinet in Israel requires a minimum threshold of 61 seats.
