The terrorist US Central Command (CENTCOM), reacting to the downing of an MQ-9 drone belonging to the United States over Qeshm Island, stated in an interview with Al Jazeera: “We have heard reports regarding this island; the situation is relatively calm, and we have no further comment on this matter.”

In the same context, the Public Relations Department of the Islamic Republic of Iran Army issued a statement explaining that an invading US MQ-9 drone was targeted and shot down in the skies over Qeshm by the advanced air defense systems of the Army’s Air Defense Force within the framework of the country’s integrated air defense network.
