report Mehr News Agency quoted by Al-Maluma, Thaer Al-Jubouri, a member of one of the specialized commissions of the Iraqi Parliament, emphasized that this country has registered five thousand cases of military action that violates its national sovereignty by Turkey. .
He added: dozens of people have lost their lives during these actions of Turkey. Turkey should end such actions through a new agreement that guarantees the sovereignty of Iraq.
Al-Jabouri clarified: Turkey’s land invasion inside Iraq is based on Ankara’s agreement with the Baath regime and must be stopped.
He stated: The water issue, which is considered one of the most important issues, should be resolved during the visit of the Turkish president to Baghdad.
Before this, Turkish Defense Minister Yashar Güler announced that President Recep Tayyip Erdogan will visit Iraq. This visit of Erdogan to Baghdad will take place for the first time since 2011.
