Ayatollah Seyed Ebrahim Raisi, the president of our country, on May 13 of this year, in response to the official invitation of the president of Syria, left for this country for a two-day trip.
During this trip, the presidents of the two countries signed the comprehensive program of strategic and long-term cooperation between Iran and Syria in various fields. The country has signed 14 cooperation documents between the two countries in the fields of commercial cooperation, oil and energy, technical-engineering, housing, rail and air transportation, free zones and the private sector, communications and technology, and earthquake and relief and facilitation of pilgrimage affairs.
These documents were signed by the ministers of foreign affairs, road and urban development, economy, oil and communications and information technology with their Syrian counterparts.
In this trip, during the meeting with the Prime Minister of Syria Hossein Arnous, Raisi introduced the comprehensive program of strategic and long-term cooperation between Iran and Syria, which was signed during this trip at the level of the high officials of the two countries, the beginning of a new chapter. in the friendly and fraternal relations of the two countries.
In this meeting, the President emphasized the special attention of the Syrian Prime Minister to the full implementation of the cooperation documents and agreements signed between the two countries.
