The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iran, referring to the holding of the meeting of the United Nations Security Council at the level of foreign ministers on Wednesday, emphasized the permanent cessation of attacks against Gaza and the West Bank (achieving continuity of fire The lifting of the humanitarian blockade, the sending of humanitarian aid including medicine, food, fuel, and preventing the forced migration of residents of Gaza and the West Bank are among the priorities, and achieving these goals is also subject to international consensus.
In this telephone conversation, the Swiss Foreign Minister also expressed his concern about the current situation in Palestine and the occupied territories, calling it important to release prisoners, support civilians, send humanitarian aid and prevent the escalation of conflicts.
He pointed to the consultations carried out by his country in order to protect the lives of civilians, observe humanitarian rights and strive for a humanitarian ceasefire, and expressed hope that looking to the future, a new round of ceasefire will begin.
Pointing to the importance of developing relations between the two countries, the parties emphasized on meeting each other with the aim of expanding bilateral, regional and international cooperation.
