United Nations: 800,000 Palestinians were displaced in the city of Rafah

The head of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency announced that 800,000 Palestinians have been displaced since the beginning of the military operation of the Zionist regime in the city of Rafah.

reportMehr News Agency According to Reuters, the United Nations announced that since the beginning of the military operation of the Zionist regime in the city of Rafah in southern Gaza, 800,000 Palestinians were “forced to flee” from the city of Rafah.

Philip Lazzarini, head of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) by publishing a message on the social network X wrote: Since the Israeli military forces began military operations in Rafah on May 6, 800,000 people are on the roads and were forced to flee.

He further added: Every time they have to leave the few things they have: mattresses, tents, Cooking utensils and basic supplies that they cannot transport or pay for. Each time, they have to start from scratch, all over again.

According to Lazzarini, “People are fleeing to areas that do not have enough water or sanitation.”
